Many of us had the same problem. Polygon motor and controller to replace at the same time.
Even after replacing the envelope containing the IPU controller etc.. the problem is not solved. You can barely see the code 202 through the dark screen ....
Any suggestions?
thanks!
As skynetto already stated......
Polygon Motor AX06 0324
Controller B247 5112
You say IPU board,etc...I asume etc=polygon motor?
If you changed IPU board and Polygon motor then I'd say problem is PSU board,it happened to me once on MP7001.
I powered on imported used machine in workshop and PSU board fuse got blown, after I replaced fuses it showed me dark screen with SC202,I replaced the PSU board and it worked like a charm.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?
Another cause I've have for this is the side gates in the LCT harnesses chafing, wearing through and arcing out, dropping machine causing SC202. Pull all the trays open and switch on. If it comes to ready, that's your cuplrit. I had it on an MP5500.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
I suspect too that it's a problem of tension and I want to try replacing the power supply board although in this case the fuses have no problems. I'm afraid that might be the card Bicu I do not own. Even disconnecting the fuser unit and drawers do not change anything.
Doesn't has to have blown fuses...I replaced fuses and only then culd I power on machine to see what's wrong with it...Blown circuits was the problem

This week I'm going to try the power supply board is hoping that's the problem. I will let you know. thanks for now
Resolved. Thanks for the advice. I replaced the main power board and the polygon motor and it works.
