Re:lanier 5612 copier with white bands

Hey there. Just joined this board because I noticed a copier in the forum I service, cool. Anyway about your problem. I don\'t know this box but have seen this on other copiers, mostly anolog boxs. The white band is useally caused by the copy getting sucked down into the T/S assy. whereas the image on the drum can not transfer in this area leaving a white band horizonally. The main cause is the side transport clutch over feeding causing a buckel in the paper. Run the copy thru your fingers and see if you can feel an indent. Hope this helps, good luck
