Are the prints good? If so, give the optics a good clean. If not, check the laser glass and then see if a forced toner supply affects it at all.
There are mylar sheets in the toner supply case where the bottle goes in that get crushed, this stops the toner bottle turning properly, and therefore toner supply.
prints are also light. even with new developer first cpoies are light. also cleaned lase unit glass but to no success.
There are 2 connectors on the transfer, if these are connected the wrong way round then you will get faint copies
There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don't
Check and clean the ID sensor sits just above the drum unit
OR in future don't even bother rebuilding the pcdu....just modify and fit the printer unit from an SP8200.....you'll need the SP8200 A kit.....the SP8200 B kit contains a fuser and transfer assy.....both of which fit the copier with NO modification required.
And did you just clean or replace the charge roller?
