Ricoh Aficio 3260c light black copies / prints

Hello everyone,

I have a Ricoh 3260c that had a bad black toner pump and was adding too much toner causing spots on the paper and getting on the transfer belt. I replaced the pump and that issue was fixed. Now it is printing too light. If I try to calibrate the copier it cycles and does not print a calibration page. After I noticed that it was taking too long calibrating I cycled the power. It was then over-toned. I cleaned the music sensors first which were dirty. That did not help. I had a transfer unit from a machine in the shop that was working fine and threw it in the copier. Still same issue.

I know it is something simple that I am not seeing. Please help!!!

What is the current condition of the black? Over toned, light copies, or both?

Spots or black copies :1. Check the black PCU mylar strip under the drum cleaner unit. One end lifts up causing toner build up and drops toner.2. Check transfer belt cleaning unit is not full of waste toner out side of the unit.Clean out transfer unit and do an SP music/colour calibration.3. Check/change all the foam seals that connect to the waste toner auger at the rear of the PCU's and transfer unit...4... 5... More....
