Savin 9040SP reduces image when using document feeder

Only when using the document feeder the image is reduced from lead to trail edge.

This will leave a line near the trail edge of the copy, which is the trail edge of the original.

Is this an adjustment for the transport motor in the document feeder?

    Thank you in advance

Are you sure that you are having a reduction problem and not a registration problem? If the line is less than 1 mm from the edge of the copy paper, you can try adjusting the trailing edge erase SP 6006-007.

Check to see if the margin adjustments in User Tools are set to create a margin for binding.

The copier works properly when copying from the glass, wouldn't that adjustment also cause the same issue from the glass?

I can hold up the original against the copy and see that it has been reduced.

If it is reduced slightly using the feeder but not on the glass, you can try using SP 6017 (Sheet Through Magnification) to adjust.
