    MPc300 Touch Screen Alignment

    Hi!

Has anybody had any issues with the touch screen alignment on the MPc300s going out? The customer calibrated the screen and it was fine, however they had to turn it off and, on powering it on again, the alignment had gone out again.

They use this with ELP-NX so it's a big problem for them!

I'm tempted to change the screen, but I've also checked for firmware updates and technical bulletins and there are none.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

If there other settings, like the date and time, being cleared following a power off, I would say the NVram or at least the battery for the NVram.

No, it's just the screen. I've ordered one.

    Thank you!

Is it me, or is the C300 a bag of wank? Crappy hinge, crappy screen, waste toner box sealed, etc...

Think this model is ok, giving no nightmares at all and as zeldaman say, nothing is so worse that it can't get alot worser (sorry my bad english)

I don't think the NVram have any battery, then it would be impossible to transfer the NVram from one board to another, think this is an all-in-one chip, like a flash memory.

No, but there'll be a CMOS battery somewhere that powers it, otherwise the clock would reset if it was powered off.
