    Doc Server to USB

Is there any simple way of moving/copying documents from Doc Server to USB please? Have an MP3300 that need to get the documents from and transfer to another non-Ricoh.

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Doc Server to USB

without checking the psg, off the top I would say the old media link board would be needed, to export the doc server files on this one...

look at the WIM to see if the export option is there for the doc server........................

    Re: Doc Server to USB

If the machine is networked, you might be able to download the data from the doc server to a computer, and then transfer it to your USB setup that way.
I've never done this before, but I think you can download the information in the doc server to a SD card, and then plug it into something like the "SanDisk MobileMate" which will then plug into USB.
I'm not sure that either of those would work though, as I'm pretty sure the data in the doc server is in a unique format that won't be recognized by other manufacturer's machines without some sort of conversion.

What is the file extension/format please? Is there any way to convert those files to pdf.

    Thank you!

    Re: Doc Server to USB

    From the OP manual......

Downloading Stored Documents with Web Image Monitor

You can download stored documents to the computer with Web Image Monitor.

    1. Start a Web browser.
    2. Enter “http://(IPv4 address, IPv6 address or host name of this machine)/” in the address
    bar.
When entering an IPv4 address, do not begin segments with zeros.
For example: If the address is “192.168.001.010”, you must enter it as “192.168.1.10” to connect
    to the machine.
Top page of Web Image Monitor will be displayed.
    3. Click [Document Server].
The list of documents in the Document Server will be displayed.
    4. Click of the document you want to download.
    5. Select [PDF] or [Multi-page TIFF] for the file format.
    6. Click [Download].
    The data will be downloaded.

    FYI...
    • When downloading a document stored with the copy feature, the optional file format converter is
    required.
