I too have this problem with several machines. 9002, 6002, 7502. Ricoh is no help. Act like this is the first time they ever heard about it. Any help would be much appreciated. I also have done all the stuff already mentioned.
Ok my 10c. its been some time working on those.
I had problems with DF jams where the sensor flag does not return in time. So it would jam on 400X400 every time intermitantly on 300X300 and work problem free on 200X200.
So it seem the faster it runs the quicker the flag needs to pop back.
Replaced the motor on mine and it worked great for about two weeks, now we're right back to square one. I've changed the scanning resolution to get them by, but would love for Ricoh to come up with a fix.
I know this sounds rather simple but there is a one way bearing in the roller that the feed belt rides on shaft side that can cause strange paper travel issues if it seizes even for a tick. After initial feed it needs to reverse and if it hangs at all it can result in timing issues down the line...have a hard time explaining why it does not show up in free run or copy mode though. Have had great success removing this roller from shaft and lubing with "super-lube" no jamming issue after.
Replace the ADF transport motor-B4773721
I replaced new motor, replaced 1 way bearing in the back and lube all idler gears and it is still jamming with 54😭. Is there a way to change size settings when scan to global scan NX?
Hi guys,
I have face same problem today. sp free run ok out put df every thing ok.Any body got a soluation please let me know. This problem only for scaning mode only.
Thanks,
senaka
Its only in the scanning mode because of the 200 dpi vs 600 dpi copy settings. The lower the dpi the faster the adf feed. The attachments shows what points to clean and lube. I'm testing using Kano Kroil Penetrating Oil because WD-40 has a tendency to dry out after awhile. So far so good. The bearing are getting gunk in them causing drag and freezing up the feed motors. I replaced the motors with ones that I had in stock from the last model thinking that I had some bad motors but that did not resolve this problem. Cleaning and lubing the bearings are the only way to repair this issue.
