    Where the two springs attach the the pin at the center, instead of hooking on to the pin connect the two springs with a paperclip, hope that helps and will take a better pic next time I am at one if you need.

    I would be interested to see more detail of this configuration!...would this help with other machine model lube bars that wear unevenly?

    Is the paper clip re-shaped or completely left intact?

    More details would be MUCH appreciated!!!

    Paper clip left intactintact and as far as I am aware no other models with the same spring configuration suffers from the uneven wear isaue

    I used the paper clip trick on the C901's for a overdusting of the lube bar & uneven wear. As far as the 8100's we have had very good luck with the 'new' style feed tires, although they tend to wear out sooner, they provide a stronger feed across a variety of paper & conditions IMO.

    Have you tried the new new feed tyres, back to the harder compound but with a very deep tread as such. AF031098 and AF032098. Pickup roller is the same but feed and reverse are an almost purple color and very grippy feel to the surface.

    The question is how quickly the feed and separation rollers will become smooth.

    Time will tell, am fitting them to my machines and think they will last longer.

    Hey all, i have a dusting problem...not sure is it the ITB cleaning unit, Drum unit or PTR roller cleaning unit... i suspect the ITB cleaning unit...but their all centrally located and the fans circulate the toner thru the whole machine. appreciate any ideas
