Im having some feed issues and i was just trying to cover my bases. If they are missing on yours also im not going to worry about it.
Spoke too soon, Blackcat says it needs to be on there. Gonna have to try it out. Unfortunately, the only other printer I can snag it off of is the 4050 in my office. I love that old beast, but maybe it's time for me to upgrade and fix the customer at the same time without having to order the parts.

It's funny that I found this HP thread through the Ricoh thread. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No argument here, but how weird is it that mine are missing too?Originally Posted by mikadonovan:432965
Must be a common issue. I dont work on these enough to know all the particulars. I DO know that this series was prone to misfeeds described as "an epidemic" from what ive read.

Is the pickup roller in your picture rotated down so the flat is forward? The flat is supposed to be at the bottom when idling. =^..^=
