    Copying Checks

I found that yesterday on a C3003 if I set the zoom at 65% I could copy a secure check in BW or color.

Some customers don't care at all that copying checks is illegal, and are livid when they upgrade to a new copier. I think you can also blow them up a bigger size and make it work too.

So long as the size is large enough or small enough that there could be no confusion about the copy you're able to reproduce it. I always called it the Play Money rule: if you can find play money in that size the machine will let you do it.

    Re: Copying Checks

The two checks I worked must have had VOID embedded in the pattern. It did not show up to the naked eye, but printed all over the check when the copy was made.
