    MPC 2500 fusing problem??

Hello, i have a problem with an MPC 2500, when i print A3 from bypass or paper tray at the end of the copy there are kind of "lightnings"... I know a similar problem at b/w machines when the fuser entrance guide is dirty and the paper wasn't fed even..... Look at the attached picture please. Changed the entrance guide, bearings, pressure roller, fusing belt..... Any ideas?... Thx!

Perhaps bad paper/moisture? Most customers print almost no or very few A3 jobs so the paper in the tray might lie in there for month. Best thing is to load a fresh realm and see if the issue is gone. THere's also this foam roller running inside the belt that might need to replace - at least itīs part of the PM kit.

Could also be a scratch on the Fusing Belt.

That sure is what it looks like, but he said he changed the belt.

There is no toner on that wrinkle...it happened before fuser, check transfer corona if it's housing is leaning on transfer belt propperly.

Have you checked thw idle drive gear of the fuser? That one falls apart just by looking at it.

Are the fuser pressure release arms (activated by the right door) moving properly? Sometimes these get damaged, the clear rollers fall off, they get loose enough to not align with the door...I can't tell for sure if your sample is wrinkled as well as the toner missing?

There is no toner on the color background. There is black on the letter "a". Check the ITB and PTR.

Thx for the answers. I changed the fusing belt., but still same problem. When i stop the machine during copy i can see that the problem occurs during fusing process, the wrinkles are only on the upper/exit side of the fuser.... I changed almost everything in the fuser unit..... Can it be a problem in the paper registration??

have a look at your PTR unit. look for any missing or stuck upwards static fingers, the spikey ones that get caught when cleaning. I think ive had this cause the same issue your having.
