Did you verify there is or is not a way to set up the IP address in the USER TOOLS. I recall it was before you could do a TCPIP port in Windows, and we had to use some funky tcpip port clients to set up tcpip printing to the NIC. Back then we has so many issues with network printing, we often used Jet Direct and AXIS print servers.

So you can't ping the NIC even. Nothing too promising so far.

In your 2nd and 5th pictures that show the interface, do you see the rectangular metal plate? That is where you would find your TCP/IP port. In simpler language, that means that you don't have the network interface option. Ricoh machines of this era were factory built with the combination of features you desired, not assembled from options and configured by field techs. So most likely this machine will not recognize a NIC even if you found one to install.

This machine is a dry process laser printer, so it never had "ink", only toner.

This machine will never print from a PC. It may be a doorstop disguised as a copier. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It's always good when someone with experience and a good memory shows up.

    Thanks!

Ah I see. The only thing I was hoping to achieve is to be able to scan more than one page at a time so I can create pdfs. Oh well I guess it is a big door stop now lol. Thanks for all the help.

This particular machine has many features:

    It's slow
    It's expensive to operate
The consumables have a very short yield

By now the consumables are not available.
Perhaps if you leave it out by the street someone will steal it, and you won't have to pay for disposal?

From looking at the pictures you provided, what you have is an old Product code A265 machine. As I only see Copy and Printer buttons above the Start Button, this machine does not have FAX or Scan function. As for USB, it was an option at the time this model was available. If network printing does not work it could be a number of things. The port controller on the NIB could be bad. The NIB might not be fully seated on the Printer controller board. If the only print driver you found is for USB, you found the wrong model to download. Try this link: http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/p...2fx22_27en.htm
