Colours not aligning? Make sure that the laser glass is clean and any drums that need to be replace have bene. Do a forced line adjustment mode C, then mode A at least once. I usually do mode A twice. I would also do a Full Music Process Control afterwards, just in case the colours are patchy.

Ok we seem to know what the cause is now Its caused by believe it or not (Try it it works) Leaning on the exit cover causes the laser units to somehow jump out of sync Ricoh Japan are currently Designing a New Exit Cover and there's no date yet as to when its available.................

I have successfully replicated the fault on a machine in the workshop all you have to do to fix is remove exit cover unplug front laser cables and remove laser slighty NO NEED TO UNPLUG RIBBON then reseat laser test machine stick big fecking sticker on cover DO NOT LEAN ON ME and fixed till new cover part number is available........
