any one had this error tran unit seems ok hate these small boxes

Do have the same problem,see that rtb change transfer belt to roller..

Change transfer roller but did not fix error code,machine start up sounds not normal so im checking to go that way...

So hope anyone had a fix on them..

Sensor below the Transferroller is not OK

Second possibility: the Door close mechanism is not really close

Change the sensor or change the Hook's for the Close - Door mechanism
Do not change the Transfer Position Motor how it is written in Service Manual. This takes minimum 2h with no solution

Had a machine with sc452 due to damaged side cover.
Now rebuilt with new side cover.
No sc452 anymore but pale cq at paper transfer.
PTR bells out to earth so thing bias terminals all good.
Anyone had issues with PTR unit

what was the solution? I have a problem C305 with this error, I'd hate to strip the machine to put in the contact motor, if its simpler than that.

Damn machine, I think the worst that RICOH has built in the digital age. I changed the closing of the doors, the sensors and a partner changed the transfer engine without success.


It has served to bend the metal sheet that acts on the sensor of the transfer roller.


1.- Remove the transfer roller.
2.- Fold / Replace the metal sheet where the sensor is placed, upwards.

If you strip it down, be aware of the power switch cables in the psu, the tend to fall off when assembling. It is hard to take the shit apart the second time, I can tell you
