    Wait until you get a rather annoying ITB cleaning unit failure on a Metis, just one word, messy lol.
    Nothing like having waste toner covered all over the ITB, yellow and magenta PCDUs and laser slits on the last service call of the day.

    I guess Ricoh have not heard of the concept called gravity.

    I had one where the paddle on the back of the waste toner bottle was broken by the customer and them backed up through the system taking out all four drum units a cleaning spiral and the black toner hopper.wonderful job NOT!!

    I have had that, but considering it is on top of the ITB (which I did think was a rather strange design), I have only had one failure.
    I can think of far worse faults to deal with than that...replacing toner supply unit on MPC300 or MPC305 spring to mind immediately

    The package FW save's a lot of time now on the Metis, so not so bad updating that every fortnight or so!
