Hi all,
We have an MPC6003 that intermittently says "toner not set" on Magenta.
The springs that hold the bottles in place have been changed and so has the toner bottle.
Any suggestions that could sort this issue? (RFID is next option)

I do not have a machine or cartridge at home with me so I can not check to be sure, but I seem to remember that the MPC 6003 toner cartridges do not use an RFID system. They use a physical contact type ID connection. There is a hole in the ID board on the cartridge and a contact pin on the machine that goes into the hole. The contacts on the sides of the pin can get damaged to where they lose contact. Usually I have been able to straighten them.
Thanks for the replies.
It was a colleague who wanted help and hes now replaced the contact assy for the toner bottle. I saw that the pins were bent (very slightly) and that caused the issue.
Many thanks on your input. Spot on answer!
