    Ricoh MPC3501 and MPC4501 Fusers

I just wondered does anyone know if these fusers are interchangeable?

The part numbers are different but I have a spare fuser which would really save the day if it worked.

    Thanks Phil

The C4501 and C5501 use the same fuser.

Hey, that's a good answer, but to the wrong question!

Question is, will that 4501/5501 unit fit into 3001/3501, or visa versa?

From the parts catalogs, same heating lamp but different heating roller and pressure roller.

I'd say, if it will fit, try it.

Physically wont fit, they are slightly different in just about every part. They look almost identical though.

Sorry, I thought you were a tech. I should have been more specific.

    Thanks for all your replies.

I'll just have rebuild the old one with new parts.
