MPC2050 locks up when printing certain document

Customer trying to print a contract and the copier stops printing from all computers.
They have to go in to the print que and delete the job, will not cancel from the printer screen of the copier.
Only happens with this one type of file everything else prints fine.
Any workaround for it?

sorry she just said it is an "odd pdf" I will check when I go in the morning.
I was able to get her to clear it over the phone but she called back when someone else tried to print it again.

Install Special/Custom firmware PCL V1.05.1 LR0008 date 7/22/2014. This corrects a PCL firmware bug. The character-rendering position is incorrectly calculated during the font-hinting process, which causes memory corruption and results in the SC899 error. SC899 occurs when printing from some websites using Internet Explorer.

In the US they are available from both Ricoh's TSRC and rfg-esource.

Ok so the document is a pdf scanned from a desktop "Neat" scanner, it is 28 pages and around 13MB mostly b & w but scanned in color.
They had a similar 18 page document from the same scanner around 11MB that printed complete but did take about 5 minutes.

I have more questions than solutions:
I'm leaning towards an issue with the file conversion software on the scanner.
Can they print the document to any other printer in the office? Can you take a copy of the document to try to print elsewhere and/or connect directly to the Ricoh with a laptop and try.

ALSO...why don't they simply scan this document with he Ricoh?

Select "Print as image" in the document print preferences.
Make sure print queue is set for LPR and the queue is lp.
Not a copier problem. It is an application problem.

now THAT is a great question. it is a large office and she doesn't want to walk all the way to the Ricoh so she wants to scan right from her desk.
I told her just to use the Ricoh in the future to scan these.

I know there is no problem with the copier but you know how it is hard to convince the customer of that sometimes.
