    ID sensor borad mpc2051

Need the part number for the id sensor boasrd on an MPC 2051. Have looked all over the place for a parts manual, but am kind of restricted on paying for the manual. I have cleaned the sensors and the mounting plate under the transfer belt. The machine worked for about ten pages and then started throwing the cs400 error again. It can be cleared by cycling the main power switch. But returns after one page has been printed.

    D0746100 DENSITY SENSOR

SUBJECT: TROUBLESHOOTING SC400 ID SENSOR ADJUSTMENT ERROR
    GENERAL:
Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve an SC400 (ID Sensor Adjustment Error).
    1. Check the harness of the ID sensor.
    2. Clean the ID sensor with a cloth moistened with water.
NOTE: Never use alcohol, because this may damage the board. Never use a dry cloth as it can generate static which will attract dust and toner.
    3. Execute SP3011-001 (manual process control).
    4. If the value of SP3324-003 (Vsg error counter) is NOT “0”, repeat Steps 2 and 3.
    5. If the value of SP3324-003 is still NOT “0” after repeating Steps 2 and 3, check the spring for the PTR unit
    contact lever. Repeat steps 3 & 4.
    6. If the value of SP3324-003 is still NOT “0” replace the ID sensor. Repeat steps 3 & 4.
    Notes:
    1. If the black spacers are stuck to the sensor board, remove all black spacers. These black
spacers should be used when a new ID sensor board is installed.
    2. Input all correction coefficients for the ID sensor with the SP modes referring to the barcode
sheet provided with the new ID sensor unit/board.
    For example, input "0.98" with SP3362-013 & 016.
Always refer to the Service Manual for the complete part replacement procedure.
    7. If the value of SP3324-003 is still NOT “0” replace the BCU. Repeat steps 3 & 4.
    8. If the value of SP3324-003 is still NOT “0” replace the ITB unit.

    The black plastic one? D0396324.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Another thing that causes sc400 is there is a metal plate that is part of the ITB that is directly above the ITB sensor assembly. This plate has 3 rectangular holes in it that match up with the id sensors. Over time toner collects on top of this plate and as the machine works the toner falls through the holes onto the sensors.

Remove the ITB assembly (first remove the itb cleaning unit on the left side of the machine, then remove the toner waste bottle, switch the black drum transport lever to the up position, then drop the right door to about level so that the ITB can be pulled out without touching the right door).

Once the ITB is removed, stand it on its rear side and remove the left (now top) handle (2 screws) and lift the handle off. Slide the plate upwards and away from the belt. You will no doubt see a purple mass of toner there. Clean said plate and installation is the reverse of the above.
    Press the GREEN button!!
