    MP7000

    Hi Guys

I am having a lot of MP5500/MP6500/MP7000 giving me paper jams caused by the feed stations. Cleaning them and replacing feed tyres and torque limiter does not fix the problem. Usually as a last resort we replace the the unit with a machine that has been scraped. We have never been able to pin point the exact cause for these units to pack up.

    Anybody else having issues?

    Thanks

Try replacing the one way gears.

Replace the Dev Unit and the feed stations together as its usually dev leaking from the back of the dev unit getting into the feed assemblys usually at the 2millon copy mark.

I experience a developer leak around 1 mil on these models. Replacing the development unit bushings every 600k keeps them from leaking into the feed units.
