Ricoh 3800 Remove Paper Standard Tray

Every time it goes to print the same error message is displayed?? Turn off and back on, and reprint, its goes through the usual cycles then as it goes to pick up the paper from the tray its brings up the same error message.

There is not paper in the out put bin? Can anyone help?

P.86 down at the bottom suggests the paper output is full but this is not the case.

    Talking

There is a photocell on the left side where an actuator is telling the machine that the tray is full.

Thanks, what are you saying it may be dirty? Clean it and the problem will be resolved?
