Personally never seen demo software for short term use. Depending on the model you plan to install it on, it may require an external unit, an interface card and special cable or it may be embedded (newer models only).
I have quite a few installations in the field and can say that this accounting software is awesome. When you purchase the software/hardware, Equitrac will even send a rep out to do the install of the software or sometimes work remotely with the IT person at the customer account. Their Support Dept is very good with the configuration setting you will need to set on the MFPs as well.
