- First, follow these steps:
Press [File Transfer], and then press [SMTP Server]. Press [Change], and then input Server Name and Port Number. - Server name can be input as server name (FQDN) or IP address.
If you input the server name as an IP address, be sure to set the DNS configuration as shown below. - Press [Connection Test] to check if communications succeed.
Press [Interface Settings] tab, and then press [DNS Configuration]. Press [Change], and then enter the IP address of your primary and secondary DNS server in [DNS Server 1] and [DNS Server 2]. Finally, press [
] or [OK].
I suggest you to download SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin. Once you installed SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin, you can use it to add Scan to E-mail destinations.
