Gestetner dsm-620d getting sc-302 codes

Customer called with sc-302 codes which I looked up and it is a charge roller or HVT code. I believe this is the equivalent of the Ricoh Aficio 2020D. WOuld cleaning charge roller usually take care of this or is changing recommended or is there something ekse i should be looking into. Does the roller slip out of posion etc? Frank/ ActionPhotocopy

Dear sir this is the answer of your problem sc 302,in the manual mention the charge roller and high voltage board is defective but to my openion you must change the charge roller and drum and check also then life span of your consumables maybe its over already thats why its come the error,I will explain to you why sc302 is come out because the sid by side of your drum is grounded already when the charge is applied its leaking.
