I checked the Tessa-support website and there is an RTB for this SC, but this RTB applies only to the AF3025/3030. When you do a remote firmware update on an AF3025/3030 SC670 could occur. I would try to update the firmware with an SD-card.

    Good Luck

    RTB 10c on TESSA.

This was a classic fault on the AF1035 series (precisely as you described) and WAS caused by the HDD!

In this case it does sound like a bad connection.

Had a similar fault (I caused it!) just yesterday when refitting covers, I tweaked a duplex harness plug and caused SC650 due to a bad connection on one pin.

Try removing everything (including the ADF) and re-booting in stages.

Also, just checked the Knowledgebase (TESA / Knowledgebase2) and found loads of references to SC670.
It is always related to boot errors and can relate to connection problems / NVRAM failure and board failure.

As a quick check(?) it may be an idea to take the NVRAM from this machine and swap into another machine?
