MP 4000 GESTETNER SC 302 code

Hello ,
I have MP 4000 ,when making continoues coping it give me SC 302 cod, while making copy one by one it works fine,
The machine run so far 151000 copies total counter, some time the print gives at one side half black line horizental , mostly copy quality is fine, For SC 302 i checked the CHARGE ROLLER and cleaning roller are both fine and the connectors are also works.
I checked other IMAGE UNIT in this machine and runs fine on continoues coping,
PLEASE need some help, I am very new for this model, the suplier submit estimate for changing the DRUM,DEVELOPER,C/BLADE ,C/WEB and charge roller,?

If you've checked all the electric contacts of the drum unit and looked fine, probably you have to change the charge roller.

Hi if im not mistaken 150k is the yeild of most of those components mentioned it would appear your charge roller is trying to compensate for the high vr on the drum to an extent that it has now created an arc through the rubber to the drum (which is grounded)causing a spike which inturn generates a charge leak code such as sc302 solution pm the machine do the nessary reset of sp modes and bobs your auntie !!!

What is the charge voltage sp2001-001 at ? I have found that as the mag roller gets dirty the machine will keep upping the charge voltage to keep the copies good. Then when it gets around 2000 (which I believe is the max) you start getting sc302.

I have also had several bad high voltage power supplies.

If a different pcu works in this machine you probably just need to rebuild the pcu and clean / replace the mag roller.

yes i checked an other PCU unit and the machine works fine,
dear Msaeger should i replace the Magnetic Roller ? I clean all the unit except the developer unit ,

You are going to be causing grief for yourself if you don't just do the full PM that is now overdue.

I just reset the COUNTER OF CHARGE ROLLER and the SC 302 gone forever, but the copy quality needs to replace full PM.

I have been putting in a new dev unit because you can't get just the mag roller, a new drum, charge roller, cleaning blade, and charge roller cleaning brush.

What do you mean ,when i replace DRUM,Blade and Charge roller I must replace the hole Developer Unit ?

Well the mag roller is going to be coated with toner and the mag roller is not available alone so you either have to clean it or replace the entire developer unit. Also the developer unit has been updated so you probably do not have the latest one anyway.
