| Just for a test, try using a different email provider.
If the MFP has access to the Internet (gateway, DNS, etc, are all correct). set up an account for yourself at GMX.com.
It's free and uses the standard port 25. You will need to enter the username and password you used to create the account in order to authenticate.
Try that a bunch of times. If it works reliably, then the MFP and a bunch of other things (including network speed) are all good, and it would be time to seriously investigate the SMTP server you are now using.
You may also wish to check and make sure that you aren't having any file size problems, as well. |
