Gestetner SP1000sf scanning problem

[Slicer]

i've tried to uninstall and re-install the software that's on the cd. Companion - the printer driver and Paperport is the scanner driver.
while installing Paperport, it gives me errors but i seem to go into the programme.
when i want to select the scanner - no driver appears - blank space.
c:\windows\Twain_32\CSPLLTwain\Com\Applications.xm l not found!

please help!
