    MP2400 half inch vertical black line

    hi to all,

    i have a problem with the mp2400, vertical black line , self copy fine, optics very clean, but when i use photo copy the copy print out got blackline
    half inch vertical line , any body can help me , thanks in advance

    Have you tried a firmware upgrade? I vaguely remember seeing something in a TB about vertical lines. Will you scan a copy and add it as an attachment? So I can see what you are talking about.

    The only other thing I can think of is dirt on the charge roller.

    BTW what's the machine code?

    What the update with your problem? Try to check the ccd adjustment first.

    At the risk of sounding presumptuous. At my last Ricoh training course I was told never to adjust the CCD as it is done in the factory. Never adjust any screw tipped with white paint.
