Pro906ex firmware flash gone bad

Hello, I was updating the System firmware on a Ricoh 906, the Engine was already up to date. During the system update the machine gave me a SC817. I could not get it going again until I took the system card out of another machine and put it in, then the machine finished the system update on the new card. We ordered a new card and all is well. My question is, is there anyway to fix the old system sd card?

Anybody got any ideas here? I've got the old sd card, it seems like I should be able to format and reload it. I really don't want to toss it.

Have you tried to reformat it?I wouldnt toss it just yet.I would format it and reload with another type firmware and try it before tossing it.

No way of getting that card to work again, Tried looking for some kind of clone software but there nothing " looks like the card is protected, and yes it definitly is".
