white stripe in Developer unit Ricoh AF 2090

Can you help me out with this stripe into the developer unit.

I took a cardstock and slide it in between the two mag rollers.

It went away for a couple copies. Then it got back.

Any idea what to do?

Thanks

Martin

There's a special cleaning mylar for the Bellini's doctor blade gap. The part number eludes me but I'll bet someone will post it. Use it to clean the doctor gap and clean the mag roller while you're at it. That should sort it. Failing that, replace the developer. Tip out the old dev, vac the dev unit to within an inch of it's life, clean the doctor gap then vac again. After that, replace the dev. Problem solved!

check also the copies made by the developer powder, perhaps it already due to replace, this white line comes from paper dust mixing to the developer, usually cleaning the gap by that tools mention by Sir TonerMunkeh, but i use same as transparent plastic cover for note books but more thinner..... Good Luck and have a nice day Sir.

You have to clean the doctor blade, but the problem will come back.
Replace the developer and the developer unit.
