MP171 Fax trouble

Help!! I have a 171 that cannot fax to a PC, but faxes to other fax machines. I'm going to update the firmware but firmware usually doesn't solve problems.

Any ideas what it can be? Other fax machines works perfectly.

If you're faxing to a computer modem, try to disable ECM and lower the initial modem speed to 14k4.
