Exclamation Aficio 3045, not fusing properly

Works fine from on normal paper but when the customer puts coloured lettrhead thru the bypass it just will not fuse properly- it's all grainey and bitty. Now, I have tried every paper type setting in the user tools- no joy. However when I try it on another machine it's fine(not a ricoh). The machine is spottless, 90k on the clock, press and hot roller are good, please any suggestions
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Take out the cleaning roller from the fuser. The teflon on the hot roller may of gone off even if it looks okay as well as the press roller may now require changing.
    good luck....

You stated you set paper settings in user tools, that would be for the trays only.
When bypass is selected (assuming this is a copy job), press the "#" key and select "thick" paper type. If it's a print, you must select thick paper in the driver settings (once you select the bypass as the source, there's a paper type drop down to select various stocks).
