    MP-6000

Can't get rid of this 555 code. Repl-stors/checked lamps and stats ok. Lamps are not firing up. Checked fuses on lvps all ok. Leaning toward the lvps. Ideas appreciated. Thanks t

Not on that machine, it was on a Konica 7075, but I had once that problem because the rear connector on the machine side wasn't making proper contact, hence the lamps didn't get power (I also got a nasty shock when checking if the connector had any power - please, don't ask! )

550's web. Try the fuser exit sensor harness - I've seen one chafing against the frame shorting out, causing SC555.

    555 web end detech.

Check web has not worn out. Watch out as the sns arm some times it sticks. If you have not got a web you can reverse it. Then go into sp mode SP1902-2 =SP1902-4 . 1=lenght of web 2=% of time left on web for machine to tell use to call you.

    Have fun , Good luck

    SC550 A Fusing Web End
Web end detected 5 times within 500 ms and web motor continues to
rotate 40 s. If web end is detected for another 500 ms, then the SC is
    logged.

    • Web end (requires replacement)
    • Web end sensor defective

Note: After replacing the web with a new one, reset SP1902 001 to "0" to release SC550.

    SC555 A Fusing lamp error
After the start of the warmup cycle, a fusing lamp was at full power for
1.8 seconds but the hot roller did not turn.

    • Thermistor bent, out of position
    • Fusing lamp disconnected
    • Circuit breaker opened

Yeah TonerMunkeh is right 550 is the web end. People always seem to think it's 555 for some reason.

Is it trying to come to ready after you reset it or does the code come up as soon as you power on ?
