    Driver Download

This the download link from the Savin page. If you prefer to get from the Ricoh site, just go to the downloads page and look at the menu on the left of the page. You will find it listed there. Click the link and fill out the form, ya-da ya-da...

Make sure to check you machine requirements, because some machines require a firmware update to take full advantage of the software.

OK, I downloaded web smart and tried it out. It does work; however It has to be installed locally and it does cause issues since not everyone has a computer that can handle it and most don't want a dedicated PC just for the program.

Does anyone know the answer to the original question? Is there a way to enable the ability to email or fax the count directly from within the machine?

    Smile Ricoh Smart Device Monitor

The software and instructions can be found at:

    Index of /protectedmembers/180903/SmrtDevMonv8130

Make certain you read the "doc" files for information. I hope this helps

I tried smart device also last week and it does keep track of paper and toner; however it doesn't keep track of count. Did I miss something?

Smart Device monitor Admin keeps tab of toner, paper, users and address book, whereas Web smart device monitor has the ability to email meter reads. It is used only in some countries. Here in Australia we use a program called "ereader" which gathers readings from one or multiple machines and emails to the Branch or dealership with the customer CC'd for their own records. The machine itself cannot email reads directly. Security reasons maybe?
