Jam codes for this model don't seem to be listed in the documentation (not that I can see anyway).
So I'm not sure what location J001/J058 is.
But a misfeed basically occurs when a sheet of paper is expected to be
at certain place in the machine within a certain time frame and is not.
Does this misfeed occur from every paper tray?
Just for something basic, might want to check the dampness of the paper, damp paper can cause all sorts of problems with misfeeds and jams. Try a fresh ream to be sure.
"Vert. Trans 1: ON" is the only description of the J058 I can find. Do you have an LCT connected to this m/c? The LCT would be a paper cabinet sitting on the floor to the right side of the copier.
I'm inclined to think this is a sensor between the paper source and before the registration sensor (the sensor just below the long soft black roller just below the PC when the door is closed).
The sensor is stuck for whatever reason, hence the J001 error code. I would think you'd only get this code if you tried cycling the power. If you really get desperate, you can take the LCT off, then take the duplex assembly off, then you can remove the right side covers to see more of what is going on.
Does the copier show a diagram of where it thinks the jam is when the J001 is displayed?

I have seen 058 when a tray is not set up correctly for the paper place in the tray and due to the paper being a different size the copier senses paper when it shouldn't or doesn't when it should.
Check the paper is set up correctly in the tray and like scott said i would check the sensors in the paper path are ok and don't have a small piece of paper caught round it.
I had a 2035 a week ago throwing the same kind of issue because the paper size sensor that reads the paper dial on the tray had a bent 'finger'. If the paper dial is set to the right size but the display shows something different, that may be the cause.
Thank you guys! someone did change the settings of paper tray.
Gotta use the rule of 2!!! (That's the customer IQ)
