Unhappy Ricoh 2018 Transfer roller mark

Did a full PM with OEM parts and supplies. Now I am getting 10mm black mark on back of paper on lead edge. I adjusted Charge, Transfer, DV bias and turned on transfer cleaning and set that voltage @ -10ua.
    Still have mark.
    Any ideas???????/
Machine has only 70K on it and I am out of ideas.

I opened the door before the paper got to the fuser. The mark was there and not fused.

    Lightbulb

Is the connection between the drum and developer sections of the PCU solid? I've seen strange copy quality problems when the developer section gets compromised. The stuff has a tendency to migrate all over the place, check the silver registration roller and see if there's anything floating around in there...

I have seen this before... Another tech was working on the same model machine and had this problem. He also stated that he had another do the same thing about a year earlier. He had to get help from another tech in the office to fix the problem because he couldn't remember how they fixed it before.

For the life of me, I cannot remember what they did to resolve the issue, but for some reason I am thinking it was a developer change. I do remember the tech telling me what it was and about how weird the solution was. For whatever reason though, I keep going back to developer or even something about the two units not being seated properly (as mentioned before).

I will ask Monday morning and post back, if the problem has not been resolved by then.
