    MP 171 No Access

I have a MP 171 that we can't get into because at the very beginning it ask you for a user name and password. You cant even make copies, change the ip address, anything! And we can't get into the web image monitor, even as a supervisor. We have tried literally every username/password combination we can think of. I did a memory clear, SP-5-801 and it still didn't work. Any ideas?!

Someone has set user authentication to something like Windows authentication, you need to turn authentication off.
If you can get into user tools, it's in system settings, admin tools

And others on how to decode the NVram data. One member even designed a compiler program to read it.

Google be your friend, and it doesn't get tired of answering the same question over, and over. and over.............
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
