    MP-201 Fax Problems

    My MP-201 Facsimile light always is turning red and then on the screen it says: "Check whether there are any network problems. [15-01]"

    So i just exit out and then continue faxing. The faxes are all going through but i am wondering how do i get that message and red light to go away? The network connection is fine! Any help?!

    Do you have Fax forwarding or email notification set with incorrect email information entered either for the address, SMTP, or default sender?

    No I don't believe so...there are no preset destinations for the fax. The only thing in the web image monitor for the machine are the fax destinations.

    Fax forwarding and email notification are separate setting from fax destinations. You need to check those specific settings. If it is trying to forward a received fax or email a notification page after sending, or failing to send, a fax and the email settings are not correct you will get a network error.
