I can attest to that. I have an MPC3503 in a construction trailer using a Verizon Wireless jetpack as their network. They send large files over 20mb that include detailed maps and graphics, have complained since day 1 that those jobs take forever to print, sometimes they never print at all.
I have tried PCL6, PCL6 V4, PCL5, RPCS, PS and my latest test of loading the file into a flash drive to print directly from the machine to eliminate network speed as the problem and same thing. I took that same flash drive with the same PDF file and plugged it into a Konica Minolta 4 series and it printed the PDF in under a minute no problem.

I will try it on an MPC4503 next but I'll more than likely replace the machine with a C364e

    Ricoh just sucks anymore.
