    MP CW2201sp smart panel message

    Good day all

    I have a MP CW2201sp with a front panel message CANNOT CONNECT TO THE MACHINE HDD ? Anybody ever had this message, it is not a SC Error. I dont think it is unique to the MPCW, but rather any Ricoh with the Android Smartpanel.

    Your input would be much appreciated

    Not experienced with this one but is HDD connected, can it be formatted.

    Hi Davel

    Yea, like I said, its not a SC Code, just a message popping up. I just trashed the QUICK PRINT RELEASE ICON and the message is gone. Customer doesnt use Lock Print, so its no issue right now, however I will look into it more closely when I get time.

    The machine does see the HDD, I can scan to doc server, make copies ect. Format HDD no problem.

    Ok, Firmware update, Put QUICK PRINT RELEASE back on the Home screen and problem GONE
