Ricoh MPC4000 ARDF and GlassBed copy miss alignment

Hello, my Ricoh MPC4000 print prefect fine, also when copy feed from ARDF long edge seem work pretty well.
    1. However copy feed from ARDF short edge, the result tilt angle a little.
    2. When using glassbed to copy, TOP page appear dark line (about 1/16" above), seem like scan pickup too soon.

I am wonder, can it be adjust from hardware, firmware or something can easy done in admin setting?

    Please advice,
    Thanks

If you tend to lean on the front of the MPC when using it, you have possibly knocked the scanner out of alignment with the main frame. To check, remove the paper trays and place a bubble level on the bottom frame to check the machine level. Once the machine is level, on the platen glass and check it. If it is not level, you can try lifting up on the front corner of the scanner to level it. Physical mount of the ARDF is also adjustable.

All other adjustments are done through SP settings.

These include magnification ratios for main and sub scan, margin adjustments for all sides, adf scanning adjustments, and there are registration adjustments for all paper feed stations. Get a manual and start with mag ratios on the glass, then all scanning adjustments. An increase on margins may get rid of the lines, and if you have a skew, there is a manual adjustment screw slot on the adf left hinge to allow moving the right side of the adf forward and backward.
