    Ricoh SP C410DN lines

New customer called for a printer I'm not familiar with. Wanted to get some info before heading out to look at it.

Different colored lines (see attached page they sent me).

    41k total pages printed, 3k color, 38k b&w

My guess would be drums but any suggestions appreciated?

    Thanks in advance

Those lines are usually from the charge rollers.

cyan drum is damaged, yellow and magenta you must clean charge roller and blade.

Thanks for the quick replies. Are these drum units made to be taken apart to clean the charge roller & blade and how hard is it to do? Doing a quick web search it looks like the 3 color drums are only sold as a set. Are there any single or aftermarket drums?

Might just tell them to buy the PCU's online since they are end user replaceable.

You can take them apart and clean them but its kind of a pain. Not as easy as the bigger machines.

if that machine is like the spc430 dn series which it looks to me then those drums are easy to pull apart.
I use the spc430 druns on my mpc300/c400 and c401 copiers i resell. just swap the td sensor on dev unit..
there are a few screws and a white plastic collar that comes off.a small thin flat head screwdriver helps..
if the drum has any real grooves nothing will fix it.
