    dsm730 devloper stiking to drum

    machine gets great copies but is getting dev. on the drum and causing the copies to be sandy feeling. i have replaced the dev unit and entire pcu section including drum. did a memmory clear and checked drum ground. changed transfer roller and checked all settings in sp data with no luck any suggestions..

    When the drum is attracting developer, it means the charge roller voltage is too high.

    You can also try to adjust SP2210

    What kind of memory clear did you perform?

    total memery clear as per ricoh hotline. didnt help i checked 2210 .. our ricoh rep sugested the quienching lamp. which i nthought digital machines didnt have only to find this models do. its not coming on which is attracting dev after the image is put on the paper...
