Lanier LP116cn SC 530 error code

Dear Friends,

I have an error code (SC 530) on a LP116cn color printer. I believe that this printer is the same as the Ricoh Aficio type printers. That is the reason I have posted to this sub group.

Can anyone tell me 1) What the problem with the machine is 2) what the solution is?

Below from the Ricoh Service manual:

530 Fusing fan motor error
The fusing unit fan motor
does not operate.

•

Voltage between pins 2 and 3 (CN9 on engine
control board) abnormal (not +24V)

•

Defective fusing unit fan
1. Replace the engine control board.

2. Replace the fusing unit fan.

Rather than start with replacing the board and fan, I would start by checking the connectors etc.
