A3/DLT - double count ledger size

I've seen at least a few machines where SP5104 does not exist. I attempt to make ledger size count double for every copy, or count single, depending on customer's needs.
Manuals suggest change sp 5104 - but like I said, there is no 5104 in sp mode.
HOW do I change enable/disable double count ledger size on Ricoh?
    Currently, 1060, 1075, 3245c - don't have 5104.

    Dexor,
5-104 is an SSP mode (Special Service Program) not an SP mode (Service Program). Set to "Yes" for double-count. One of our fine Ricoh specialists should be able to send you the appropriate information. Since this information should not be shared with endusers, private message is best. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Press # when you select Copy SP. Then you enter Special SP.

I did not tell the whole procedure to get into the service mode, so I think my answer is not that dumb as you suggested!

But an end-user who already knows how to enter SP mode (and I don't believe there are just a few of them) will say "ah-AH! So that's what I was missing!".

Now you can see why there is an entire industry (Equitrac, Copitrak, etc...as well as manufacturers' products) for making products to control, monitor and restrict MFP functionality.

An enduser who knows how to get into the SP-mode can already cause trouble. He doesn't need the SSP for that. I normally do not post any information that leads to entering the service mode, allthough I know that you can easily google that information.

I'm not worried about the users who blatantly cause trouble - they're the ones that, when their machines start spilling out developer through the fan openings, tell me "Well, I just fiddled with this here - I didn't cause that, did I?".

I'm more worried about the customers who have different prices for short and long paper on their contracts and, just before a major A3/DLT job, sneak into SSP and turn off double count temporarily.
