Scan To Email MPC2500

Hi,
I'm having difficulty setting up Scan To Email using my Gmail account into Ricoh MPC2500. All the POP & SMTP settings were keyed into the device correctly but still failed to send out emails. Can anyone please help?

This machine does not support secure connection for email accounts, which is the case with gmail.

i have limited sucess with gmail. try using a different port, 587 instead of 25. i usually just use a gmx account. Free Webmail and Email by GMX | Sign Up Now!. uses port 25 and requires authentication.

Tried with GMX but still no luck.

have you tried to ping the smtp, using an IP address will generally work better than name ... you will also need a dns if using name resolution.
