SPC430 "Remove paper from the duplex unit"

First of these machines that I've seen doing this, but I have a client that claims to see this message appear on the screen every once in a while. She's pretty clean on the inside, and I swapped the front door push switch earlier this week in case it was faulty (I haven't been able to make it jam). Yet the message apparently resurfaced today. Anybody else struggled with this?

Fingers crossed, but it looks like every once in a while, one or the other of the duplex unit sensors would stop registering state changes, creating a jam code that wouldn't clear (unless you killed power to the machine). Reseated all the connectors on the BCU and that stopped happening.
