    What do I enter to get into the "service mode" to clear an error?

    You must not be a trained Ricoh tech and you obviously do not have access to a service manual. Entering service is a vary basic operation done at almost every service call. It is covered in the manual.

    Agreed! I would just add that it also requires virtually no resourcefulness to find the answer.

    Your right. I'm Canon trained and trying to help a friend who has no Ricoh service contract, because he's getting out of the business, but has a job to run. I thought I would receive some help and a friendlier response from all.As you said it's a very simple question.If your Ricoh trained

    I tried that 1st and couldn't get an answer .Some irrelevant answers and a lot of ads. To say I made no effort is false .I tried Google then copytechnet. When I got to Copytechnet I got no help from techs who know the answer but are judgemental.I came here for help.
